Legislative News |

On Friday, June 13, Gov. M. Jodi Rell vetoed Senate Bill 678, a legislative proposal that would have
established a Community-Based Health & Human Services Cabinet, which would have been a step in the right direction
for adequate state-funding of nonprofits in Connecticut. For more
than 20 years, nonprofits have struggled with the state's failure to
properly fund nonprofits that provide services on the state's
behalf.
We, at Connecticut Association of
Nonprofits, are greatly
disappointed and puzzled by the governor's decision. Click here

news coverage on the veto. |

An Act Establishing the Connecticut Healthcare Partnership,
