Volunteers

Volunteers are a great way to get free support for your organization, whether you need help for a special event or project, or administrative assistance. Use this page as a resource to help you find and manage volunteers to fulfill your organization’s needs and better serve your community.

If you have any resources that you’d like to share with the nonprofit community, please email a brief description, and link or PDF to Melissa Harris.

Don't forget that college interns can be volunteers too! Interns can be a great way to get extra free or low-cost support for your organization, and give a bright young mind a chance to earn some relevant work experience! Consider using an intern for help with IT, marketing, development, special events or administrative functions. CT Nonprofits is proud to host an intern every semester*, and we encourage all nonprofits to support their local institutions of higher education by mentoring our workforce's next generation!
